Contacting Server Issue

I have been trying to fix this for a while now, but have this problem on both the xbox and PC version for about 4 months now.

Whenever I try to go into matchmaking, I get the message “Contacting servers” and this message never goes away regardless of how much time I give it.

At this stage I have tried the following:

  • Logging out and back in on the game, the xbox app and the windows store. - Ensured that the NAT settings are open - Ensured that the “Xbox Networking” on the PC is connected properly - Deleted and re-installed the gameAfter all this I am still no closer to resolving this. I see that most people who have had this issue in the past used the signing out and back in trick but this did not solve my problem. Can anyone suggest anything else besides what has already been mentioned above?

I have the same issue and have tried the same fixes. Nothing works, and submitting a ticket doesn’t solve anything either because it just gets ignored. Logging out and back in fixes it most of the time, but for the handful of us that it doesn’t work for, the only option left is honestly just giving up and moving on.
