I start up MCC on PC, head to multiplayer and when I press “Play” and get a message saying “Contacting server to get the latest matchmaking data. Please wait.”.
I have reset my computer, reset steam, restarted Halo MCC and I am still cant play…reinstalled the game, logout and Login, NOTHING works.
Thanks guys I hope someone can help. Me, bought the game 2 days ago and for 2 days im trying everything to fix this. Can’t even refund the game anymore
This happened to a friend. Not quite sure how he fixed it, but it has something to do with your internet configuration; there’s something locked preventing you from playing online

Well, this happens in Xbox One too, but as far as I know, there is no fix for this.
Just wait, play a campaign mission and then, try again.
