The issue has been fixed via a backend update. Downloads should be considerably less draining going forward.

Texture streaming is a local process. It’s when textures are loaded on the fly from a player’s computer’s hard drive into RAM after the level loads as they walk around the map. It’s why even on low settings you can go up to a book and read the text on it or up to a floor and see detail. Halo: Infinite has this on and doesn’t give players a way to turn it off.
It may be over but I’d really like to hear from people about when this issue started. What’s the earliest date anyone remembers noticing this happening?
Halo Infinite is said to be a very data intensive game. It’s one of the causes of desync.
now i found it start consuming all bandwidth in menu not in matchmaking !
for me no background app download or upload , it is very strange and annoying , i saw the bandwidth usage and as soon as matchmaking start it shows all possible bandwidth consuming ! when closed the game all bandwidth will be freed , i tried to untistall and install the game but nothing all is same !
I’m trying to understand what you’re saying but I’m coming up short.
You say it’s using up “all bandwidth”. How are you testing this? Are you trying to access the internet from the same computer or from a different device? What happens when you do this? Is it slow or are you unable to get through? You’re giving a wide blanked statement that’s vague because you don’t say how you checked.
The top-tier way to check would be to use software that records network activity since it can give an objective measurement about what changes. There’s also the possibility that it’s your router failing or not being able to keep up.
I checked using NetworkUsageView app:

First I notice a surge is 21st July; recieve data is over 40x what it was typically. But I don’t play that much so in all it was just under 10 GB.
