I’m not here to bash the game of a series I love, but Halo 4 has many online problems. Here are the ones I noticed:
No social playlist ? This means playing against try-hards all the time,never playing just for the sake of playing and “inviting” guests into “pro” games. And no warm-up games
No doubles, team snipers, etc…
They will probably be added but I want them now

Matchmaking is too fast after a game. I dont even have the time to check my stats and Im already in another game. Put up a 30 seconds or more time period just like in the old Halos
Other than that, 343, at least for now, your game is incredible, seriously. Great campain so far with amazing AI, nice art style and story. However, the points mentionned aboved restrain me from being “addicted” to the multiplayer part of the game.
4 - Objective in Big Team please. I don’t know why it was created as a slayer only playlist. I for one would love to play some CTF on Ragnarok, Exile, and Meltdown with 16 players. Team Regicide would be pretty cool as well - just like VIP from the Halo 3 days.
I agree with your first point in particular though. I like playing standard game modes (slayer, etc) without any crazy over the top settings - but I’m not super hard core about it, so I keep getting matched against people who take the game way more seriously than I do (especially parties) and get quite a thorough butt kicking. Where did the social settings from Halo Reach go? And yeah, I’d kind of like to see a return of Ranked and Social playlists.
343i should host a community map/minigame competition once they get file sharing up on waypoint.
It hurts to have the non-standard multiplayer experience reduced to finding good maps and gametypes on youtube and only being able to play with friends.
