Constructive Gaming

First off, I’d like to begin by saying this is not in any way related to Halo, but hopefully the discussions in this post will be conveyed at a marginally understandable level. That being said, let us begin by suggesting that most games have tons of constructive features. That for example build or contribute something.( i.e. Say if I wanted to build a house. I would need a laundry list of supplies and tools that I need for construction on the house that I was about to build. ) Video games are beginning to condense the way we construct things. Sometimes the way we routinely want to simplify something it seems, the odds just stack up against us to create the most uninteresting thing imaginable. Are video games getting to be less constructive? Are we losing interest as we complete less fulfilling tasks? If you think so, then you are stepping into an opportunity to suggest what can be done about the lack of constructive gameplay. Which by the way is a good thing. Please tell me what your suggestions would be to further amplify the way we play video games.

Thanks,

Any suggestions on what games can do to be more constructive?

Do you mean to like… give more tools to create custom Emblems, so experts can upload freaking awesome emblems and get extra XP for doing so?

Isn’t Forge already the kind of tool you’re talking about?

I dunnow how Halo could get more constructive considering the type of game it is. I think the thing you’re looking for would be a Halo RPG (which would be kinda cool if they did it like Fallout or Skyrim).

Now that’s constructive right there. Very nice. Also what if you could somehow morph a game from complete and utter structures. Sounds like a good direction. An untold unique idea. Like who or what guilty spark got his simulation expansiveness from? A game of collecting knowledge via guilty spark or something and building your way or another player or npc out of it. That’d be a cool game. I ws thinking of a puzzle game instead of role playing game but oh well.
