So I’ve quit to BO2. I’m not going to wait or get accustomed to the game play, I’ve been playing Halo since 2007. The community is dead, all my longtime halo friends are no longer playing so I am not the minority.

What can be done? A step back into the classic style of weapon pickup and map control. Smaller maps to force more exciting battles and game play. A ranking system that measures your ability so I’m inclined to stay up till 5am gaming to get to the next level. Weapon balance and tweaking. Simple things really.

Halo is a great game at its core, hopefully 343 can figure it out. It was their first take at the granddaddy of all games. Given how halo 4 wasn’t buggy or a downright flop I have complete confidence they can deliver next time.

I stopped reading here. I didn’t think it would matter if I read anymore since you and your friends are the majority of the community.

I think the community is quite alive, actually. We’re all here. Try organizing a custom games night or make a post to get people together. Make new friends. Many people here are usually quite friendly and passionate about Halo (sometimes to a fault). Don’t expect change to come to you, make the change.
