I would say an updated ranking system (1-50) but that probably won’t happen.
Dependable/reliable servers. (Don’t let my little cousin who’s new to halo lag out or not be able to connect to a game)
Do the above and watch numbers increase exponentially. I’d be willing to bet my life on it. (From a fellow business owner/entrepreneur)
Putting aside my personal bias against the BR, it really needs a lot of work in this game. It needs to have its aim assist toned down, and then it might make a suitable spawn weapon.
Why would you want that ? The better player will still out br somebody. Makes competition even I believe. Either way I think it’s a move in the right direction. Thx for the input.

But wouldn’t you agree the better player would still win the battle ? I think the easier and more balanced the rifle, the more traffic it can bring in and still be super competitive.

Dependent on game mode, BR starts wouldn’t be bad

If it was solely within Arena, sure.

All that being said, I doubt the numbers would increase exponentially. The Halo population has been in a steady decline since H2.

This will not increase number exponentially, while I agree on what you think needs to be done.
Changing the req system to a proper progression system will certainly see a higher player retention, that should be added to the list.
