If we are going to have 343 actually listen to us we need go be calm and we need to stop throwing a fit all over the place, we need to be criticizing them without going “343 ruined this and that and that.” I know people are mad at what 343 is doing with halo but if we just act mature for once maybe they’ll listen to us and we can have the game we wanted.

The problem is everyone wants a different game and when they don’t get it they get butthurt
We tried that after Halo 4. We got MCC.

Why hate on a company that made 2 games. (3 now but you know what I mean)

Okay, that was funny. Well played.

Because they get a free pass after every failure with “they’ll get it right next time.”
Also, it isn’t like 343i is made up of a bunch of novice developers (though you may find that hard to believe at times) - a large portion of them have previously worked for other large teams.

Halo 4, Spartan Assault, MCC, Halo Spartan Strike, Halo 5.
Counting is hard.
I say we deconstruct now. Jus’ as they have with Halo.

Don’t forget Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, even if it is a remake.

Pretty much this.
And after MCC, we got Halo 5.

Yes we did get the MCC, and it was a great idea that 343i pushed out to early because they wanted to give the fans their favorite games remastered(remade in the case of Halo 2) on the tenth anniversary of the fan favorite. The only problem with the MCC(besides the -Yoinked!- up launch and buggy -Yoink- game)was that 343i did nothing to fix the mess and instead pushed forward with Halo 5. They listen, we just don’t care that they do and complain, because that is what we do when all we want is halo 2. They gave us Halo 2, but now its time to move into an new era of Halo. Its not Halo 2, it’ll never be halo 2. Lets just move on, I love Halo 2, I always will, but its time to leave it in the past.
Constructive criticism? Okay, this is what we need for Halo 5 to be on par with previous Halo games, let alone surpass them.
Splitscreen
Campaign Theater
File Share
File Browser
Forge (yes, I know.)
Better Post-Game Carnage Report (medals?)
Map Voting / Vetoing
Better Pre-Game Lobby (let us see peoples armors before the game again)
In-Game Screenshots
In-Game Clips
343’s Favorites Tab a la Bungie Favorites in Halo 3
Classic Gametypes with Spartan Abilities turned off on Classic Maps with correct scale
Assault
Infection
KOTH
Race
VIP
Juggernaut
Regicide
Stockpile
Headhunter
Territories
Oddball
Grifball
Ricochet
Extraction
Deadzone, Aim Acceleration, and X/Y sensitivity controls (slider or number)
Better Emblem color customization
Social Playlists where Rank does not matter
Basic Training a la Halo 3 for new players to get started
Armor rewards for completing certain feats. Could be more like Halo 3 than Halo 4 but some type of middle ground would be cool.
Classic. Maps.
Firefight.
Spartan Ops (could be swapped with Firefight. Whichever the community prefers.)
Challenges for REQ and or XP.
Custom Challenges a la Reach.
An Active Roster that actually tells you what people are doing. A la Halo Reach (more so), 4 (less so).
Clan intergration a la Halo 2. Spartan Companies?

Because they made 3 bad games. Halo 5 will die just like Halo 4, only faster.

Lost track at how many times you contradicted yourself. 343 botched MCC and never fixed it but yet they listen? How do you release a broken game, don’t fix it, ignore every player who wanted it fixed and then go on to make Halo 5 into a turd with many of the same mistakes from MCC and Halo 4.

When their Creative Direction decides to go to TIME Magazine’s website to insult people who didn’t like or get Cortana’s turn to evil as young fans who don’t get subtly or nuance, I’d say the “act mature” angle is a two-way street.
Complaining about complainers is, in fact, a complaint.
