Constructive criticism is not our hate 343i?

I see another thread were a poster state’s “not every one hates you 343i” and implies that people need to be constructive with their criticism instead of being haters. That poster had no substantial constructive feedback to offer 343i. Do you really think praise statements such as “we love you 343” or defending 343i from critics offer any type of constructive feedback? NO it doesn’t; praising 343i is just as redundant as hating them. However, many posters including myself, have been shamed for offering a polite critical perspective about the development of Halo5. If someone simply offers a personal negative view about the game, they are most always met with a kick in the face.

You expect us to show love when you have disappointed too many of us? I think it should be the other way around, game developers should be obligated to show love to their fans first, because the fans already showed their appreciation by purchasing your game.

I think the poster just wanted to get across the idea that not everyone loaths their game or them as a company. I think it could have been better stated though for sure. As the whole hate and constructive criticism thing goes, hate =/= constructive criticism. there are plenty of well thought out posts that provide great critiques to the current state of the game in a well thought out and explained manner.

The posts that OP was referencing is the ones that just attack the game. Those posts do have criticisms but they are far from constructive do to the hate that they are threaded in with. You cant attack a company then expect them to take your advice.

Its like if your playing a game and someone is yelling at you “you -Yoinking!- suck, pick up the -Yoinking!- sniper, use the damn power weapons!” The player is still critiquing ones game play but the one being attacked is more likely to not follow that advice do to the hate that came with it.

That OP may not have had critiques for the game so he praised it, when one thing is good there is usually less aspects of it to critique, but when its hated there is obviously something to critique so when hate is brought forth you would expect some form of constructive criticism but sadly that does not always happen.

Again though I am not saying all criticisms on this forum are hate, merely that hate is not the best way to criticize something.

Someone’s still buttmad that they didn’t get the Falcon.

It’ll be okay son.

Everytime we come with criticism fanboys come with BS answers like this:

A. Gid gud
B Destiny
C Whiny kids/stop crying
D Free update
E Everything is fine
F Hater
G Bungie fanboys

Holy crap, people. Don’t click on the thread if you don’t like it.

Its because a substantial amount of the criticism is not presented well. It comes across as unsubstantial, aggressive or just plain stupid.

Take the recent thread about the location of the knife on the Wrath armor. It went on about how this small detail ruined the entire armor and that 343 were lazy and incompetent, a bit of an exaggeration don’t you think ?
