So the game “oause” like hitting thenpause button, but for about 1/4 or 1/5 of a second(its -Yoinking!- noticeable!!!) The game just doesn’t respond. If i jump, and it pauses in mod air, im suddenly where i should land.
What is going on with halo 5? And its not my connection because halo mcc and literally every other online game doesnt do this, its only halo 5, and only when in a match

The games riddled with crap like this in matches sometimes. I’ve experienced ghost melees recently where I backsmack someone and no damage occurs. Not even a shield break. I saved a clip that can be viewed if my profile is viewed on xbox I believe. Literally missed a melee on someone with sniper…would have been a game changing moment in the match…not that the match was played for money…it’s not the end of the world if I lose…but it’s just so frustrating sometimes…
I also have the double grenade glitch saved where an enemy spams 2 grenades at once basically. In these types of matches… everything is off. Shots are firing slower than the enemies. All the button inputs don’t seem as instant…like there’s a delay…ghost bullets…heavy aim…you name it.
All while being hardwired to the internet. If it isn’t the ridiculously stupid matchmaking -Yoink!- us off…it’s this crap. I used to think someone on my friends list that used to play h5 was crazy when he would tell me h5 is the only game that has so much lag in it for him. Obviously he isn’t alone. This is also not the first time I’ve seen users make threads on this either. I guess we gotta just deal with it. Sure someone will reply here and just say “gee…MUST be your internet”

I’ve had the same types of issues for the last 4 weeks. Terribly frustrating. And I have Comcast cable with great speeds. So it can’t be my internet connection causing the constant lag and teleporting, double grenades throws, late Grenada throws and missed melees. It was no problem all through the Covid lock down months. But since late September 2020, this has been an issue every single time I play slayer matches. And I’ve reset all my equipment but it doesn’t matter. I’m getting seriously ticked off that no one can help us with this. I am about ready to scream it makes me so mad

it happens all the time when people leave or when the game ends. theres no fixing it, it happens to everyone
