I am from Europe, I have a 50mb down and 16mb up and my connection is fine in everything else besides halo wars 2, Also I have noticed how frequently i am matched with american players as i add people to friends regularly and speak to them on discord. This suggests to me that your servers are based in america and that there is no european servers. How can you honestly expect the whole globe to connect to an american server? had i have been made aware of microsofts greed i would never have bought the game and I even paid for the ultimate edition. If the lag doesn’t get fixed and fixed soon i will never be buying another microsoft title again
Welcome to the club, of latency. It’s really unacceptable for a rts to only have US server without a better sync system in place.
But that is just how it is. 
And yes MS 343 is most definitely greedy, otherwise they would never have released this beta as final release.

First off, I have great Internet myself. And even I, in America get these lag spikes. Even the occasional freeze for about 3 to 5 seconds, before gameplay resumes.
With that said, should I also say the same thing? Because I add friends from the UK, and even Australia that they have servers only in UK?
The game is a month old. MS is not EA, they will address the issue. Almost every game has a few bumps in the road at release
