I don’t recall if it started before or after the most recent update, or if the Preview Program has anything to do with it. I don’t know, and frankly, I don’t give a sh**.
Resetting my router/modem doesn’t fix this. Hard resetting the Xbox doesn’t fix this. Nothing I do works. There is only one Xbox in the house so “multiple Xboxes on the same network” is not the issue. Basically it’s the same every time. I’m playing a game, I start lagging, I hit a loading screen and I’m back to the menus. Occasionally I’ll get the message that “my Xbox disconnected from the local server” or that "My fireteam has changed (even though I’m the only one in the party).
Also, I live in the northeast…Massachusetts to be exact. I have Comcast. I just did a speed test from Massachusetts to Spokane, Washington. My connection is 77 mbps down and 10mbps up. Though I acknowledge there is issues with my router/modem (which may need to be replaced)…when it works, and everything else in the household is connecting fine, including the Xbox One itself, I STILL get dropped from Halo 5 games.
Funny thing is, I start lagging and get dropped out of a game right after I just respawned, or when I’m killing another player. It generally never happens when I’m just walking around.
Either way 343, this is unacceptable. Your Master Glitch Collection debacle last year was pathetic. But again? Really? I will not be buying another Halo game after Halo 5. This is not worth the frustration or money. Fix this now, or continue to lose fans/customers.
I know how you feel man. My internet is perfectly fine, no lag whatsoever an then oh, lost connection? After 18 minutes of fun warzone, (WITH A LEGENDARY BOOST) i get disconnected from nowhere and lose the boost… Fix it 343.
My Internet connection is fine and I keep dropping too. I never get a laggy game I just get kicked to the menu I used to get an error message but now I get nothing. I some days I will beable to get 3 games in with out getting kicked but that’s about it.
I keep getting kicked while Forging. Loosing progress in Forge is infuriating. Even more so when I know their is NO reason I need to be connected to the servers in the first place. Seems this is the future of gaming. Constant server disconnects from Destiny, Halo5, and RB6.
My Warzone matches crash in game so I can never finish a match. Also, Arena works for me (aside from Fathom and Truth which will boot me out of the game if selected). I’ve tried everything I could, contacted Xbox customer support and contacted Bravo on Twitter. I hope this gets fixed no later than the January update but preferably before. I was so excited to play doubles and I can’t even play it since Truth/Fathom come up quite often and it just crashes
I’m debating on re-downloading my entire digital copy again but I’ve already done that once so who knows
Well, after I posted this, I stopped getting random disconnects…until today. Got two more. F*** this game…I’m done. I’ll play when 343 gets their s*** together. I’m tired of their incompetence.
