Since about a week ago, I have been experiencing constant disconnects almost every game between the hours of 6:00pm and 12:00am CST. I’ve done a bunch of troubleshooting, and I’ve come to this conclusion: During peak hours, my ISP doesn’t have a 100% stable connection. When I am playing, I run a constant ping test to google.com. When I get disconnected from the game, my ping window shows that 1-2 pings timed out. I’ve spoken with my ISP, and they have said that there is nothing that they can do, since when they run a ping test to me, they don’t see any issues(the packet loss only happens every 10-15 minutes). At this point, it seems like the only way I would be able to continue playing is if there was a longer timeout period(maybe 2-3 seconds) before you get booted from a multiplayer match. I think that this would probably help with many people who are experiencing issues with disconnections.
