Consoles and Power Seeds at the end of the campaign?

I apologize its been a week or so since I finished the campaign. I ran into a interactable console and a power seed that I put into a console that didn’t appear to do anything…

This was later in the campaign, I apologize, I don’t remember exactly where at. But it seemed odd and I thought it would open something later on but I never discovered it. Perhaps I missed it or another object I was supposed to interact with…

Anyone else run into this? Or figure out what it was supposed to do?

Was that toward the end? The one high in the rafters in that weird room?
