My friend went to Gamestop yesterday, and they told him Gamestop corporate(I’m guessing) talked to someone at 343 and were told that consoles and LCE purchasers will get to play a week early. I know Gamestop generally doesn’t know what they are talking about but seems weird that they said 343 told them we would be able to play early. I’m sure someone at Gamestop literally dialed the numbers 3 4 3 and some random person picked up and said “yeah sure they can play whenever they want”, but does anyone have any clarification on this?

Console and LCE buyers get to download the game early, but they still have to wait until the 27th the play.

No one gets to play early unless they somehow get their disc before the 27th. Anyone buying digital may pre-download the game, but they will not be able to play until the 27th.
