Consistent Game Crashing While Streaming with OBS

I’ve been trying to stream the game yet every time I load into a match, the game crashes. This only occurs when trying to stream.

I’ve come across the game freezy - was vsing the AI on Heroic & there was a lot going on & I came across a massive freeze

This can’t affect Halo Wars 2 in anyway. Just a bit of coincidence.

What other answer would there be then? The game works just fine when I’m not streaming, yet as soon as I start streaming, it starts to crash

Hello - The team suggests that if you’re encountering crashing using the OBS Studios tool, try selecting "stream to your monitor’ instead of Halo Wars 2 application.

Please let me know if this works.

Sorry for late reply, been busy with things.

No. This did not fix it. This issue is only occurring while streaming on obs. Any other time the game runs smoothly
