I loose connection to halo 5 server a lot. I got banned today cause it said my connection to server was bad. Xbox live is working, my internet is fine, all my other games work just fine.
Is there something I am missing here? Should I reinstall the game?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, can’t offer any help as I’m in the same boat, I can’t seem to connect to server/lobby in multiplayer, been 2 days now and very frustrated, help would be greatly appreciated here also.
I get into games, but then get booted at some point in the game. I can always tell ot is going to happen cause I start laging and then get the boot

Hey, have you checked you NAT type?
Open NAT helps with this kind of situation. If it is closed, strict or moderate you might encounter problems like this.
And if that is not the problem, I’d check your internet (I know you said it’s fine, but try with another game as you have). Does the same problem happen with any other games after playing them longer? If none of this helps, there is nothing else I can suggest. I hope you get your problem fixed, everybody should be able to enjoy their game.

Thanks for the reply. Yea I checked internet again, had no problems playin battlefront for an hour or so. NAT is open. Thinking of reinstalling my game
I Also have this issue, its been 10 days since i got the game, i have open nat and no issue with my Other games, i’ve only been able to play online for a couple of matches,
I’m just uninstalling the game now and then going to try and reinstall again… hopefully when I log in all my in game stuff returns to me, can’t be bothered to sit around and waiting for it to sort itself out! I’ll let you know how it goes and if it has worked or not, wish me luck!
Good news!! Uninstalling and then reinstalling the game on and off my Xbox 0ne has done the trick, all my progress etc all still there and quick connection to multiplayer! Phew, Xmas is back on! Hope this helps, enjoy.
