Orange is the bigest internet operator in France. When you are suscriber with Orange, you Can’t invite a friend in ordre to play at Halo Wars 2 on multi.
I know, I just sent Viper a PM about it. Even if it’s not directed at anyone you really can’t post stuff like that plus who tf liked it? I’m not even Muslim myself and I was like o shhh.
Back on topic, Does Orange have a lot of packet drop in there connection then? Failing that is it your wifi that’s causing packet drop? Check your xbox live connection status and run a report it’ll tell you the packet loss. It’s either packet loss or nat type and if it’s the latter you may be able to fix it.
Hey, Regarding the wifi packet loss, it’s unlikely :
I play on ethernet wire to my internet box, connected to optic fiber. On the othersite, my friend (also orange) is in VDSL 48Mb/s and his pc is plugged using ethernet too.
Packet loss is probably not an issue for us, and still, we can’t connect to one another.
It may be the NAT problem … but we both openned some UDP/TCP ports, but it’s difficult to find the correct list of port required to be open.
If it helps, I tested my connection on the XboxLive app: 0% packet loss, Open NAT, 29ms ping.
I tried connecting my PC to my smartphone roaming Wifi : my friend can connect to me.
Appears to be a problem with the Orange Livebox 4, but I have set the firewall to “low” and open all port to my PC.
That’s ridiculus. Please fix it ! No other game has any problem, it has to be a weird behavior from HW2
