343 I’m not happy with the connection for Halo 4. When Bungie was around they gave us the best connection in the world, but when you came in everything change games started to lag and people got disconnected. Them you have some people that have good connection but one guy is a lagging. You need to work on this now you need to make a ban with bigger or change the connection setting, but this not just me there a lot of other people out there that are having the same problem. Halo is not halo with out a good connection. I have never ever played COD but man they have a better connection then you guys. All want is this to be solve, because its really frustrating.

Wait, are you kidding or serious about the CoD bit? You have no idea how bad the lag compensation in that game is…
You can’t even get a kill with a precision weapon nor power weapon. Especially in griffball. You hit them first, they kill you, and they walk away unharmed.
I’ve experienced these problems in every XBL game I’ve played. There is always going to be lag in a P2P game. I actually get more lag in BO2 than Halo 4. My new D-Link router has helped a bit though. I can actually pull host once in a while now. Netcoding could use some work.

This has happen since Halo Reach and yes COD has a better connection I want Bungie connection that the best connection that what 343 should be working on
Lol at CoD having good connections with it horrible lag compensation. Lol at Halo 3 having good connections with its subpar net code. I’ll take Halo 4 thanks.
I’m sick and tired playing on bad hosts, every single game. I know I have a good connection and it’s not me. When I play Halo 3 there is no lag, for real but in Halo 4, 'nother story, 343 should do something with their servers…
Honestly, I rarely get any lag in Halo 4. Maybe once every 20 games or so. It’s about the same amount as I got in Reach. Most of the time, it’s just fine.
Bungie had a great connection, and Halo 4 would be better if the connection was fixed. 343, fixing the connection should be your number one priority, it affects matches, affects competitive tournaments and I can see it greatly affecting CSR in the future! This is more important than map packs right now; please work on your connection! If Bungie could do it, you could do it!
I only have any issues once a week or something like that and I can usually work out why as it’s always just when I get near to one certain player in that game I get lag, I’m in the UK on 80Gb fibre though.
I don’t how to tell I am the host. If it’s pushing Y them I am usually host.
I wonder if people with lag bother changing the NAT setting as suggested when you first go online in Halo 4.
I never voted as I realise a lot of people are having issues. Maybe your ISP throttles XBL connections. Try asking them if that’s the case. If it appears like P2P to your ISP it will be throttled at peak times or maybe all the time.

343 you have had a long time to solve this problem with the inter if you don’t make some dedicated servers for us the players. There is really no point for you guys to make Halo anymore. I’m not Happy with halo at all I damn change in the server or my money back for Halo I trusted Bungie more then anything in the world and they did a great job with the internet servers, but you have fail me and the people, so its time for you guy to do something about it instead of working on the maps.

Bungie did not have dedicated servers its always been Peer to Peer. I have very minimal trouble with lag in halo 4. In halo 3 the lag was horrible.
