So I’m playing Slayer with my friend, the game starts, and I get a red screen with “connection lost”. Then it boots me back to the fireteam screen and it says “waiting to join a game in progress”. I lose CSR for this and get a DNF on my record, and if I’m really lucky 343 will have banned me for the privilege.
My question is - WHEN THE HELL ARE THEY GOING TO FIX THIS -Yoink-!?!?!? I’m sick to death of the bugs in this game, such as “retrieving data” that happens every few games. But the connection lost is the most annoying - I was in party chat, we were talking and I’m still connected to Xbox Live. I’m using a wired connection, DMZ to Xbox, fibre broadband with low ping and tons of bandwidth. It’s only ever Halo that does this, but clearly my connection didn’t go anywhere, the game just dropped me.
The servers have been acting up today anyway, we all got booted from a game earlier. And my friend got dropped twice today… it’s maddening when you’re trying to gain rank. Please 343 fix your servers, they are a joke.
They aren’t as much of a joke as Pokemon Go’s servers. But yes, it is quite annoying. It usually helps to either restart your Xbox entirely or relaunch Halo. Also, bug fixing can be quite hard, as you have to actually find where the bug itself is, then correct the code.

Ya 343 (or should I say microsofT)servers are not the best. But that combinied with my recently not-so-great quality internet. The game has not been as enjoyable for me as it easily could be.
Also - I’ve had two games today with “retrieving data” after them. And they’re not showing up on Waypoint… have they just disappeared? Both were wins, I want my CSR!!
