Connection Lost error

Since the release date, I’m getting the “Connection Lost” error when I’m searching for a game in Halo 5. The first 2 searches I do after I start the game are fine, but after those I get the error almost every time I search for another game. At this point, quitting the build helps, but only for 2 games again. After the 2 initial games, the error is back.

The error appears when the matchmaking process reaches the phase “4/4 Game Loading”. At that point, the message Connection Lost appears, and the game drops me back to the menu.

Here’s a video I’ve captured of this process: Davidian09's Xbox Halo 5: Guardians clip 13993934. Find your Xbox clips on GamerDVR.com

I’ve tried reinstalling the game (twice), hard reset the xbox multiple times, delete my profile, restore xbox factory defaults, wi-fi/cable connection, dynamic/static IP, Google DNS, port forwarding, port triggering, factory reset the router, my ISP even replaced the router and nothing, I’m still getting the error on the third game and onwards.

I could live with it when I play by myself, but this error is especially annoying when I’m trying to play with friends, because they connect to the server and I don’t.

I’ve recently contacted the xbox support trying to get a solution to this, but unfortunately we didn’t find one. There, they told me to “post this issue through Halo Waypoint so that our dedicated team could take note of this issue and check this out.” So that’s what I’m doing.

Anyway, here’s some additional information that might be useful. My detailed network stats from the xbox itself are:

  • Download – 100.57 Mbps - Upload – 19.39 Mbps - Packet loss – 0% - Latency – 175ms - NAT – Open.I have the game in disc format, standard edition. I’m also from Europe (Portugal).

Finally, this is the only game I’m having problems with, which might be important to solve this issue as well.

Thank you.
