For the last few days I’ve been having issues with Halo 5.
Disconnecting from arena games that get me banned, profile sync errors, ‘fireteam has changed, back to menu’ error messages when I haven’t even left the main menu, even the inability to save forge maps.
Halo is the only game with any online issues for me. I’ve done all the basics. Hard resetting my console and router and made sure upnp is on.
Any help at all is appreciated, I really want to get on and play some halo!
Here are a few other basics… Make sure your wired to your xbox and not using wireless. Make sure your Nat is set to Open. If none of them make a difference you can open ports in your router. Or set the DMZ mode in your router to your xbox. Who is your ISP?
I also want to add that the DMZ mode is hit and miss depending on your ISP. In which opening ports is the only method.

I cannot wire my xbox as my xbox is a few rooms away from our router (not out of wifi range, but far enough for a wired connection to be more hassle than good). I couldn’t port forward as it tells me ‘The game or application you’ve selected conflicts with an application () you’ve already assigned to another device.’, which is apparently to do with upnp being enabled, it even with upnp disabled I received this error message.
as for DMZ mode, I just set it to my console and upon loading Halo I haven’t had an issue. My spartan and emblem load fine, my reqs and boosts are all accounted for, but I get stuck at the ‘searching for spartans’ part of a multiplayer lobby.
My ISP is Plusnet by the way.

I take it back, it took quite some time to load a game (over five minutes) but I’m currently in a game for the first time on over a week now so maybe its worked
