For the past week, I’ve had a lot of difficulty finding games. In every playlist, I will sit in queue until the roster fills with players.
Half of the time, the roster will fill and I’ll get hit with the [Leaving Matchmaking…] box, and the roster will empty and begin searching for players again and again.
If the roster fills and I actually get through, the loading screen will progress extremely slowly until I am kicked to the title screen with varying error messages, most frequently [Your connection to the game session was interrupted.].
Sometimes I’m even hit with [You were kicked from the game.] right from the loading screen.
Again and again, I am only able to get into about 1 in every 25-30 games matchmaking finds for me, and the repeated disconnects and false kicks have been earning me false bans of increasing lengths as if I have been intentionally leaving matches mid-game.
I have tried with relays on and off, and have chosen to only connect to geologically-near servers (North-American).
I have sent one or two tickets to 343 before, but the problem usually resolves itself within 24 hours. However, this problem is recurring; it comes back from time to time and you never know how long it will last. This time, I haven’t been able to find games all week.
Game up to date, Windows up to date, I’ve checked the Xbox networking status (which doesn’t matter or affect connectivity anyway), and everything should be green.
What’s the fix?
Edit: Laughable, as of right now, I got disconnected from a few games. Waited about 5 minutes before trying to find another game, then I was hit with a 3-minute ban upon trying to connect. Immediately after the first ban expired, I am now hit with another 3-minute ban before I even had the chance to try for another match (to be disconnected from).
