I got a question. Been playing for a long, long time, done plenty of FPS games, Halflife and all up and the biggest crap cheat I keep seeing pop up is connection lag cheating. Today, on a SWAT game on POWERHOUSE, chased a dude out of the last pillbox before the columns leading to the main building, he jumps, disappears completely and then he’s on the ridgeline killing a teammate less than an eyeblink later. I check my connection and all green, so I know I’m not lagging. This keeps on popping up, thankfully not as common as the halcyon days of Halflife but it is still here. WTF man,wtf. Can anything be done about this garbage, I mean, if you cant win without glitch-cheating, why bother playing?
Fill a complaint for system tampering, it should be a lag-switch or something similar.
As long as we have P2P connections, lag switches will haunt us.
If they would ever give us dedicated servers, the lag switches would become paper weights.
So where do I file the complaint? I really get frustrated with this kind of crap, cause I dont mind an honorable loss, but a cheat win is mraaaaagh!..

Find his tag, go on his profile and at the bottom you will find a File Complaint section, press that and report him for the appropriate issues.

You said you checked your connection? How did you do this? Did you do the old trick of pressing the Back Button to see the levels by each name? If yes, hate to say it, but those aren’t 100% accurate.
Yes dedicated server’s would be an amazing thing to happen to halo.
You’re probably just another victum of Reach’s garbage host selection.
