Is this still a problem? I and my brother are trying to play online the campaign put it says that “Your connection to the game session has failed, please try again.” How can we fix this?
I have this problem all the time too. It never seems to want me to play co-op campaign. A lot of closing program, starting again and it may let us party up. That’s not the end of our problems unfortunately. We can’t play any h3 game, the lag is terrible (like playing in slow-motion), CE disconnects every five mins, h2 crashes. 4 is our only option but sometimes we want something different then the same campaign over and over again.
One thing I found with H2, have both player set up the same game configuration, difficulty, map, skulls and such. Enter the game on single player to make sure the game loads. Usually does. Once in the game, quit the game then join the one who’s hosting. Then have them reconfigure the game again and start the game. We’ve found doing this when you can’t get the game to run fully at start up helps.
Also ensure that all game consoles are LAN wired to the main host router or ISP modem/router directly. Don’t use wireless.
