I’ve been having a few PC issues in the last few days and want to know if anyone else is experiencing the same issues.
I play on a laptop with a 2070 and 10th gen i7 so the game functionally runs well.
My issues arise when I try to connect to multiplayer. Very often I get “could not connect to servers” and other similar error warnings. I’ve restarted matchmaking, the game, my computer, and my router. IDK what fixed it but I was soon able to at least play a few matches. However, usually after one match I get the errors again and I need to refresh the multiplayer portal by going to the game’s home screen; and even that only works for a while until I need to restart the game again.
Then when I do get in a game, I have latency issues and get killed around walls or by people who aren’t even in my line of sight. Unfortunately I wasn’t smart enough to check what my ping was at those moments. This hasn’t happened too often, but enough to make me concerned.
Also while matchmaking happens, if I fail to connect a few times the game will just completely crash. Usually I am trying to navigate menus while the game loads a match and that crashes the game. Other times, it is my 3rd attempt to initiate matchmaking and the game just crashes even without me navigating menus.
Has anyone else had these issues/ found a fix to them?
EDIT: Forgot to mention this anomaly. I booted up the game to play a few games in the morning and some stuff just wouldn’t load. The info banner at the top right, the info box on the bottom right, and even my character as a whole didn’t load. Not the multiplayer menu environment and not even my player card. Despite this, the game still let me matchmake and play a match of Flag Defender. I spawned in as a default grey armor spartan with the Butler AI. Once the game was over, I completed 2 challenges and made progress to a 3rd one but… I guess it technically wasn’t my character? The battle pass was the free path, and didn’t progress at all even with the challenge xp and the menus still were not loading after the match. I decided not to play any more matches just incase the xp legit was not going to be attributed to my Spartan’s Premium battle pass after the connection issues.
