It’s possibly a glitch. I know a guy it happened to. Even though he played the game (a lot) it showed he hadn’t, not sure why.

Classic 343. Instead of listening to us they do the exact opposite. Never change 343, you’ll always remain a laughing stock just like Halo is today. Ever wonder why people always talk about the “good old days of Halo”, the 2004 - 2010 era and not about the most recent Halos like MCC & Guardian, it’s because back then, games used to work and the matchmaking environment promoted FUN not the opposite.
I know this thread will be closed, just like a lot of others, for example threads about hackers where people show proof of them, or demonstrate how easy it is to actually hack the game.
No wonder a mod from 1999 (CS 1.6) can surpass MCC in steam numbers. Our game is just not fun to play, social nor ranked because of the decision you make when it comes to MM. The servers are very bad, people are still teleporting, the latency is higher than in other games, the ban system is ridiculous, it should not be like this for social, for ranked, it would make more sense. The map pools are just complete garbage for Halo 3. Nobody likes Ghost Town & Blackout, why do get these maps 80% of the time? Where is Pit, Construct, Guardian, Narrows?
In the end, it’s your game 343, but don’t forget who plays them…or rather used to play them.

Just like two of my thread regarding the state of the MCC and hackers. With explanations on how to fix this (Hell I am not even a dev… I do the occasional modding, and seen what other games have done). They were locked. At this point I give up on trying to contact, or get through to 343 or the radical minority of their fanboys. They can do whatever they want. We don’t matter man.
While I don’t mind the ban times being increased, it is apparent that the game that is being held together by duct tape is coming apart once again, though I have to admit I am one of the lucky few who rarely experience any of the game crashing bugs.What 343i need to do is put the cosmetic releases on hold for the time being and focus on getting the game patched up again. As some of you may know I give 343i the benefit of the doubt in most cases but they really do need to start taking suggestions from the Community, the ones we can universally agree on at least.
The thing is they make money off these cosmetic patches. Why spend resources fixing things that somewhat work when they can release a new name plate that ppl will drop cash for? Stop spending money and they will stop making cosmetics. Supply and demand.
People constantly complaining about others constantly ruining matches by leaving out of matches they’re going to act upon it and this is the result. If you choose to ignore it, then instead of the one that’s having issues ( wither crashing, disconnecting, alt+f4ing, lagging out, ect. ) leaving, you now run the risk of the other players, which can be up to 15 I believe leaving instead. That’s why -Yoink- like this happens. They’d rather keep the majority and throw the problem child under the bus.
Anyway…

I thought it was pretty funny when my game crashed n i got a ban, and then after the ban running into the same afk/betrayal troll in CE CTF for the past 2 years. Grief without consequence but get slapped silly when a match fails to load.
hopefully season 7 things can turn around.

Sadly I doubt it will. And yeah increasing ban times is a really bad idea considering the state the game is in with crashing and disconnects. People are gonna be leaving to play other games in droves.
