No post has been made to congratulate 343 on the amazing job on HuntTheTruth. We must congratulate when it is due and this is one of those times. After the mistakes they’ve commited and got “bashed” for, there is also a time to congratulate.
Every episode gets more and more intense and compelling. I’ve listen time and time again to all the episodes, its just that good. Bioshock level good audio logs.
This is me from the bottom of my heart congratulating for an awesome job. I just hope you don’t get too full of yourselfs on this and start taking these compliments for granted.
I can only hope Halo 5’s true plot really lives up to these audio episodes.
Agreed. I have high hopes for Halo 5’s story if it’s even close to as good as the writing of this series.
I don’t think 343i would get “high” on themselves from the continually bashing from the fanbase. I do feel that they are very good at storytelling and expanding the lore.

It was a little slow at the start but damn the writing is so good, it made a complete overturn of multiple planets into a revolution in just twenty minutes without it feeling like they threw it at your face due to the lead up and hints at unrest and awkwardness in the lives of the outer colonies. My only worry is how significant this will be, considering that this is extra media, I hope this both plays a large role in game while still explaining the massive shift in events between halo 4 and 5 in the game itself, considering they didn’t do a very good job explaining the storm covenant, I can imagine it now: “Lasky, what happened to the people here, I thought they liked me?” “A lot can happen between games.” None of that hopefully.
I still have issues with Halo 5 but 343 is keeping me interested with Hunt the Truth. I thought Halo 4 had one of the best stories in the franchise and I am anxious to see what happens to Master Chief next.

But yeah, I agree with this sentiment. I can’t wait for Hunt the Truth to conclude, if only because I’m so anxious to see its possible impacts on the story for Halo 5: Guardians. It’s already done a lot of work laying the groundwork for the Master Chief going rogue, establishing the mystery of colonies being attacked, etc. I am a bit disappointed that we already know ONI will reign triumphant following the events of Hunt the Truth - Spartan Locke and his team are ONI agents sent to hunt the Master Chief, after all. Still, it’s interesting to see the UEG confronted with questions that need to be asked in the face of atrocities, even if nothing comes of it.
Its really amazing how posts like these die off so quickly, just makes me truly believe that most people just use forums to post their selfish entitled negative opinions.
So stoked for today’s episode!!! This series has been one of my favorites leading into one of the games!
