Keep on telling yourself that brother, maybe it’ll happen one day lol but you ain’t winning any “good chunk of money” on online/local events that doesn’t even have official backing with stream support. You’re winning at most a gift card to Walmart or McDonalds, maybe to BestBuy if the promoter was any good.

I… think that they feel the need to prove it is kind of silly. Like, okay, they have their… gamertag, on jerseys. So?
As a former pro player in another game I gotta’ say, outside of performing at a venue I’m not really sure why someone needs a jersey.
You’ve never competed in Halo so you’re talking about a faction of the community you know nothing about in the first place. Just like people in bowling leagues wear jerseys for fun, so do comp Halo players. Makes you feel like a team.
And also the teams sponsors needed to be put somewhere so.
