you have made the most connection dependent halo in history, and no it doesnt feel like halo, it actually feels like the match quality you get in call of duty, nice job on the kill cams, it makes every enemy look like they have an aim bot as they head shot thin air, or is that because im so out of sync with the game? where did the ping bars go? dont want everyone knowing they are red bar?
most matches everyone has a smoothed out kd but for the host who rampages the entire game, exactly like cod…

This is the exact opposite of whats been happening to me and how I feel about halo 4 in my opinion this puts Halo back at its rightful throne as the best shooter

i have yet to see any black screens and i have played like 40 games. though in a couple games the lag was really bad and i was wishing for a black screen, didn’t happen, the whole game was trying to shoot people who were teleporting all over the places. but i rarely have had laggy games.

This could potentially be due to the server problems that have been going on in the first while after release - hopefully we should see these being smoothed out!
I played about 20 games yesterday, and 3 of those games were laggy and had a black screen. You may just have a bad connection, that’s not 343’s fault. But so far I’m enjoying halo 4 a lot, probably more than Halo 3 and most definitely REACH. they did a great job, just a few tweaks here and there and I think we have a masterpiece. I am very satisfied with Halo 4, even thoug it’s sort of a halo Call of Duty version, but it still feels like Halo. Which all that matters.
I think this problem is on your end. I have played it about 3 hrs already and I think I only got 1 black screen that was from the host of my party getting disconnected.
Try resetting your modem/router or making sure your the only one using the internet on your wifi.
its the -Yoink- game servers i use a fibre connection so dont give me that bull of get better internet,
i agree with OP that this game may look like halo but it plays like CoD and i think after black ops 2 fails because everyone is sick of it, its a bit late to try and make a halo CoD type game.

Lol just shows how most people cannot read or understand the OP. Hes not saying that games lag, which they do. Hes saying that the gameplay is connection dependent. Even if the game isnt lagging, if I have a better connection I have a better chance of winning the fight. This was also present in the other halos but its WAYYYYYY more noticeable in 4.
