You finally killed that little spark of hope I was holding on to and got me to uninstall and hide it on Steam and the MS Store.
Blocking Geo Filtering has made the game unplayable, forcing whole populations to play 100 ping games, on your discount 20 tick servers that already made 50 ping play like 80 ping.
Without Geo Filtering, or the option of manually choosing the server I want to play on, the game is dead to me. Which is a shame, because Halo is literally my favorite game of all time. It’s borderline heartbreaking for me.
You care more about your spoiled West Coast and Central players, getting 10 ping, even if it means the rest of us have to play 100 ping. That you would block geo filtering, which makes the spoiled west coast kids play on 40-70 ping, while we get 50 ping. Which plays more like 80 ping as it is.
How is a 90+ ping gap, more fair and balanced, than a 10-30 ping gap?
It makes no sense.
The game will be dead by summer at this rate. Seriously, do better. Halo is way bigger than 343 and your west coast audience.
