Congratulations Warriors, champions of MLG Halo 4 Dallas!
It was a tremendous event that showcased a lot of really good Halo 4. Ninja, Legit, Goofy, and aReallyGoodNoob played fantastic and deserved the win. They get to take home the $20,000 check for first place.
This event really helped this last weekend go by a lot faster.
Thanks again 343i for letting MLG get the opportunity to play the game early.
Yeah, it was really entertaining watching the streams. I believe Halo 4 broke even the Halo 3 records IIRC.
I know there will be work to edit the game to be more competitive but it was rather more entertaining to watch than the entirety of Reach (ZBNS included).

I was surprised that Infinity Slayer played as well as it did and I hope that it remains in MLG as it is MUCH more entertaining then just regular old slayer. All-in-all it was a great event that has me now even more excited for H4.
I watch MLG on occasion and I have to say that this event was the most enjoyable to watch in a long time. I’m really glad to see people excited about Halo again.
Ya man, this looks like it is going to be the best Halo ever. Competitive players and casuals alike have been addressed sufficiently more then in previous games.
Not really a fan of Warriors but they played well and deserve the championship. The whole event was great too. It would have been tough getting through the weekend without it. I really enjoyed seeing Puckett commenting again and everyone getting excited about the future of Halo.

> The reason Game 1 starts at 2-0 is because of the carry over from the winners bracket finals (which was also played between Warriors and Ambush.)
> WAIT WTF! You get paid $20,000 for winning a VIDEOGAME tournament?! Holy crap I never knew this! Guess im into MLG now! Lol
Wait till you hear about the Korean Starcraft and LoL tournaments…
I’ve watched some MLG on occasion but this was the first tournament that really got me hooked. All the games were entertaining as hell, moreso than the scattered various few other MLG Halo games I’ve watched. The plays were incredible, and it seemed like Infinity Slayer didn’t turn out to be too horrible in their eyes either.
Agreed OP. I watched most of the stream throughout the weekend with a lot of great plays. It was a shame that they didn’t feature any KoTH or Oddball games, even though they used the CTF gametype.
Congrats to the Warriors for winning the tournament and the $20,000!!
Also, it was incredible watching it! Legit was so much fun to watch go off with the Boltshot! Seeing him pick up doubles and triples with that thing was insane!!!
And seeing Snipedown absolutely destroy when he wasn’t playing the Warriors was so much fun to watch. These guy are all so amazing and it looks like Halo 4 could be a pretty damn good game.
I did hear about a complaint about the lag on Relay in splitscreen though. Kinda dissappointed to hear that the lag issue wasn’t fixed in Forge.
The best part was how much fun it was to watch Halo 4. =] Much more interesting than Reach by a LONG shot. I couldn’t take my eyes away. So many cool situations came up and in all honesty, the new CTF looked really fun. I actually can’t wait to try and make a flag cap with the flagnum
It showed that it really is an upgrade from Reach in almost every aspect. It looked competitive to play and it was fun to watch. A lot of my doubts about gameplay have been calmed. This game looks like it might actually be good.
I was fortunate enough to be able to make time to be in Dallas for the whole time. Unfortunately, the audience never got chairs and were stuck sitting on cold concrete or standing for three days.
They never let spectators play Halo 4, though. It saddened me, since all other games were open to spectator free play. I played Shootmania Storm, God of War: Ascension, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, Far Cry 3, Halo 3, could have played SC2 or LoL, but no, 30+ stations of H4 closed down by the end of the tournament and never was a spectator allowed to try even one.
Rant end.
Oh, and, uh… the Warriors played well! They really defined how H4 is supposed to be played competitively. I was happy to see Ninja win his first event. Severance really gave them a run for their money.
Halo 4 will have an amazing future in MLG and 343 should be proud. This whole tournament was exciting. Not only did we get to see the first ever Halo 4 MLG Tournament, but we got to see what 343 has been really talking about, we even got to see the first Halo 4 Killionaire. To see this game played on such a high skill level was amazing.
Now at the next Halo 4 MLG Event, all WE NEED ARE CHAIRS!.

Lmao duuude I loved seeing the signs for chairs lolol
Some of you may have known about the rivalry between Ninja and Formal (Formal was on team Ambush) and it was nice to see Ninja come out on top winning the series 4-0.
This event really makes you look forward to the next, and hopefully there, the people will have chairs lol
