Ive seen a lot of post recently that seem to think that when Frankie said there would be “something to scratch that itch” in the bulletin that he meant there would be a new playable race. He wasn’t referring to scratching the elite itch, he was talking about invasion. He meant there will be a playlist similar to invasion, not a race similar to elites. This will make sense if you re-read the question again. Frankie has stated countless time that multiplayer is only Spartans.

I think 343 already confirmed that there won’t be AIs in multiplayer.
Species, not race. It’s an easy mistake to make.
