So first off I thought the beta was supposed to be out by 1:00 this afternoon I can’t find anything to update my halo infinite launcher secondly so there’s time limits to play multiplayer on the beta? I don’t know for sure. They’ve hared their displeasure with how the first flight hit - and mentioned working on that aspect. It’s reasonable the push the entire flight back as well.

The flight doesn’t go live until tomorrow the 23rd. Also it is flight not a beta. 343i has posted, blog and during live stream have not once called it a beta, they have called it a technical preview and flight. The deal for today the 23nd was allowing us to download the technical preview/flight so we can jump right into it on the 24rd instead of bogging down the download on the day it goes live like last time.

Theres nothing to be compensated for. You havent bought access to the insider programme and if anything 343 are doing us a favour by opening the insider programme to the public. They could very easily limit it to an in house team or even disband the programme all together. Think of all the other devs that dont even offer beta’s let alone something as good as this were they let players test current builds of the game on a regular basis. Agreed. Talking with friends, alpha testers I know, and other players, these tests they are doing are more like alpha test. With the 4 hour windows and limited access such as not having access to all the weapons and all maps. And though betas also have limited access they don’t limite you like these technical previews/flights do. We are lucky to be able to have these public flights. All the testing they are doing, have done and plan to do with this weekend and next can be done behind doors. There are other ways to test servers. Instead 343i is allowing us players/fans to test the game. I am sure we will get a open to everyone beta near launch. But right now they are using the Halo Insider program to hopefully weed out none Halo players/fans and Halo haters; to get feedback from their targeted people. Which is us fans. The COMPLAINTS need to stop. 343i is keeping us informed and big round of applause to Stckrboy whi has spent a lot of time going through the forums to post info. I don’t know any other game series or company that puts as much effort as 343i does. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 343i!!!
