Confused about the CSR.

So there can only be 200 champions in the world in each playlist right? Also, I thought there could only be 3,000 players in Onyx, but Halo tracker says there’s way more Onyx players than that. Last season I was Onyx 1551 in Team Slayer, then I played other game modes for a while only to find that I ranked down to 1531 or so. It’s confusing.

Yes to 200 Champions, there’s no limit on the amount of Onyx players.

As for dropping CSR, you may have had a DNF you didn’t notice that accounts for that or some other weird server issue that caused a delay in updating it. Your CSR can’t change if you don’t play any games. Your champion rank could go down if people pass you while you’re inactive but CSR would be the same.

Thanks for the response.

Onyx starts you out at 1500 CSR. After that it’s a climb to that top but there is no cap on how high you can go it’s just the top 200 players. Back when H5 was first out some playlist to hit Champ 200 you would need 2100 CSR. Now that’s not the case so it just depends

How do you check exactly how much csr you have and how much you gain each match??
