Confused About Ranking System

I’m confused about the ranking system. Is it like Halo Reach or Halo 2/3? I’m so confused. D:

Don’t know yet homie.

The progresion system will be with exp like in reach. I don’t think that 343 mentioned anything about ranking system yet but they plan too sometime soon.

Wow, that post was a bundle of information and help…

your not by you’reself in you’re confusion.

You get XP from doing things in multiplayer and the ranks go from 1-50 then you can choose Wetwork or Operator (unless you have limited) then go 10 ranks in those which is about equivalent to 41-50 and you can choose a new specialization after each one so you can eventually be rank 130 and get all the nice fancy bonuses

Edit: did no one read the bulletin?

It’s more than you will get from 343i. Don’t expect anything solid until at least a day before release.

That’s my guess, anyway.

That’s classified information until further noted.

There is no ranking system… But at least we get to hang out around the water cooler and talk about spartan ops!

lol! This guy^

The ranking system is a progression system, not dissimilar from Halo Reach. You gain experience from multiplayer and Spartan Ops which feed into your Spartan Rank (SR-). There are 50 ranks, after which players can enlist in a “Specialization”.

There have been mentions of a skill rating system, but the details of this are unknown. It is known that it will have no influence on your Spartan Rank

Sorry, I didn’t see your post (or it was made while I was making mine).

There are 2 systems, a progression system (released and official) and a ranking system ( not released). The progression system is so you can unlock everything from loadouts, to skins, and specialisations. Whereas the ranking system is what MM is going to use to match people up. This is what i have taken out of it and I hate it when people jump straight to conclusions and say: Halo 4 is ruined its a progression system -.-. Not true, they HAVE NOT released the ranking system as of yet. Hope this was help full
