Hey guys, I just wanted to know if anyone could answer my question about the campaign videos we have seen so far.
I am confused, the first campaign video we saw a while ago was chief going through a jungle like area being attacked by the prometheans however cortana says she doesnt know what they are but a possible defence A.I.
Yet in the eurogamer gameplay which seems like its before the events of the e3 gameplay she calls them prometheans and seems to know a bit more about them.
The E3 build will not be the same as the in game level. The build was there to show off the prometheans like we hadn’t met them before but in game we meet them before that.
Don’t be surprised if the Eurogamer build is a bit different from the in game as well.
the mission at E3 (Infinity) was played around with to show off the new stuff. however, the jungle section of the mission in the real game will not be like that. Alot of those parts will actually be in the third mission of the campaign (the demo at euro game started at rally point charlie, so technically we didnt see the first %75 of the mission)

The mission at E3 takes place before the part you saw at Eurogamer.

it cant though because the infinity hasent entered the planet yet, thats what they are trying to prevent in the eurogamer video. In the E3 video its being pulled into the planet.

Logic sure has proven me wrong. Well like others said, maybe the E3 part was scrapped and it may not happen anything like that.
This is an E3 stage Demo of Halo 2 back in 2004. Now tell me how much of what you see ends up in the final game. What we saw of Halo 4 is just a bunch of random things thrown together to show them off. It looked great but events are moved around for demonstration purposes only. The final product will be similar to what we have seen so far, but different as well.
The E3 demo wasn’t really part of thegame. The setting and beginning cutscene, yes. The gameplay and stuff, no.
The E3 demo was played around with and put together to show off the new stuff like weapons and enemies. It was made as if it was the first time. The E3 demo was also old. Things have changed.
You really meet the Prometheans first in mission 2. Mission 3 is what was recently shown. Mission 4 is where the Infinity arrives, the mission from E3 (except it has been changed since then).

The mission from Eurogamer, “Forerunner” is the third mission. The E3 demo takes place in the setting of the 4th mission, but it isn’t really the forth mission. Just put together as an exciting demo to show off the new things in the setting of the 4th mission.
