I haven’t been in the forums for a few days, and last night I was playing some Reach wit some buddies. A few of them claimed that Elites would be playable in Customs and Forge, but I have never heard of any news like this.
So, is it true?
They will not be playable in H4.

That is confirmed for Multiplayer, but does the same apply for Customs? Sorry, I am just making sure.
Elites will not be playable in Halo 4 in any way, shape or form. Not even in custom games and Forge, sorry.

No playable Elites whatsoever
It hasn’t been confirmed I don’t think. We’ll have to wait and see, but it most likely won’t be, since, if they went to the trouble of creating Elite models for Customs, they might as well put them in Multiplayer.

I was under the impression that the “scratch that itch” comment was directed more towards the Invasion gametype rather than the ability to play as Elites.

They said, when Elites were confirmed out, that something will scratch their itch.
They also said something to Invasion fans that something will scratch their itch.
