So a toy brand just came out with their commercial about the halo infinite action figures with figures such as brohammer, the chief, marines, that one black elite, etc. What caught my eye is that in the back of the scene there is a spartan who is charging up what looks to be a railgun and the effect of the video makes it look just like hw it charged up in halo 4 and 5… I honestly would be surprised if the railgun was not in infinite but what do yall think?
I hope so! The railgun is definitely one of my favorite 343-era weapons.
While the artstyle might be more classic, 343’s given no indication they’re going back to a classic sandbox, if anything, they’re continueing to iterate on it.
So I’d be surprised if it wasn’t in too.

Yeah, it definetly looks like a railgun but in fact, it’s called “shock rifle”.
it’s the Shock Rifle, a new banished weapon.
The railgun is such a fun gun to use. It’s one of the power weapons that 343 added that feels like it came straight from the Bungie era games. Perfect mix of skill and lethality all in one. I do hope it comes back and I’m sure it will, especially if they are also bringing back the Hydra.
