I had gotten the email saying that I have access to the beta, but I haven’t gotten a follow-up email stating how or when. Do I go in and check my Xbox Insider app or what?

I have not gotten either yet I participated in mcc season 8 preview. Was under the impression that everyone whom was an insider prior to the 12th was able to participate In this weekend’s tech review of infinite. Bummed more than anything.
If you have requested the technical test for Xbox you have to download the Xbox Insider App and from there download the technical test.
If you have done it from PC associating a Steam account, I think you will have to wait yet.

I got the invite, and downloaded the insider app, but theres no preview to download similar to the videos I’ve seen on youtube.
The flight is on hold at the moment as 343 are dealing with a late-game technical issue. No codes or emails providing access to builds are likely to be sent until decisions have been made and updates posted. An update is likely to come out in the AM, 343 time [PST] with further details.
