So hey if I make a new account, then go into matchmaking with that, are my odds of finding weaker players greater or is it actually completely random matching not taking player’s history / KD / etc into account?
Um, well…Last time there was a free gold weekend, me and 3 friends made brand new accounts and went into Team Slayer totally roll stomped other teams. In a few hours of playing, I think only a couple teams hit 15 or so kills, if they got to double digits at all.

Alright guys thanks for the input. I was also thinking that recent history had something to do with it. If I’m offline for a month and I hop back on I just obliterate the other team like I’m Exodia, but then a few days later the game catches up with me lol.
You’ll play newer players. Whether those players are good or bad will be random, but most new players that aren’t restart accounts typically aren’t very good.
Well, I’ve never used a different GT for Halo, so my assumption would be that in all playlists you’d start with a blank slate record, like Arena. You’d get matches and then it’d determine where you are.
But from the more knowledgeable above me, it seems in most playlists it’s like playing a rank 1 in ranked TS in Halo 3.

Pfft, mine managed a 6.82 K/D and 100 BPR as a sergeant 
I feel like I’m still playing new players every time I get on reach. It’s been 2 years since the game came out too.

I occasionally get newer players as well (One a few days ago it was her very first game), so it isn’t guaranteed I think you just get better chances

14.8 k/d with a 100% win/loss as Warrant officer

How many of the games were you actually able to finish? Seems like most of the game ended because the other team all quit out. It was very boring.
