What up Halo people. Today I’m writing about the reason and admission why I quit alot of games. See, its because each time I try to do good I get left & right killed ALOT on a regular basis by happy go lucky &/or so called pro gamers to the point that I would wind up going 5-15 or 4-10 in every warzone or arena game which would(admittingly so) prompt to quit so I don’t turn in a loss to anyone especially if I get owned by the same person with no payback at all. Yeah I’ll admit I get temp banned alot but the bans are a joke as they just put me on time out for like minutes to nearly an hour before I can simply just step back and do it all over again. So far I’ve reach SR 15 but I’m about 60 kills BELOW 1.0 for KD and its only gonna crash from there but yeah I’ll admit I still got a good win-loss ratio due to not taking losses from happy go lucky or so called pros who would probably mock me in game as I go negative as always.
So I’ll kindly ask this, is there ANY GOOD way to get better in this new Halo game? Please answer without the arrogance(this means you too Halo pros or HIGH KDR or KDA players).
TL;DR version: I here to admit the reason for all those quits is because I continue to get killed alot which forces me to rage quit most of the time. So I kindly ask, is there any good way to get better? & please no arrogance from good Halo players.
WOW! This coming from a person just starting out?! & your KD isn’t all that great either to top it off. I guess L2P means learn to take a beating but I don’t how you can stomach going negative on every turn.

I’m trying bro but to be honest, it’s just irritating when I get killed alot by the same random opponent & not get payback not to mention people using them OP’ed human pistols which makes me feel like its Halo 4 all over again when the DMRs in that game was the go to OP weapon.

> Halo can be streaky just like any sport like basketball. Instead of hanging your head that you’re getting stomped, get mad and fight back!
LOL! Nice one man. Too bad I got mad the wrong way by getting voice or comm banned for hate mailing the said players that killed me alot. Not to mention I slammed my controller around to a point that my left stick just came loose & it was a $70 Halo 5 SE controller too.
If a game has a functional ranking system, and if the game uses that ranking system to make accurate matches, then you shouldn’t feel like you’re always being stomped and you shouldn’t feel like the only solution to the relentless humiliation is to quit. And the whole idea of getting better in order to avoid the problem means that you’re not understanding what the problem really is. It doesn’t matter how much you practice or how good you get. The truth is that there will always be players who are better than you. And because this game has a dysfunctional ranking system, and because this game does not appear to make accurate matches, you could be in the top 10% of players and still be having the exact same experience that you’re having now. “Git better scrub” is not the answer. The whole point of skill-based matchmaking is to provide challenging and playable matches for everyone without regard to their actual skill level. If you’re not getting challenging yet playable matches then the failing is Quinn DelHoyo’s, not yours.
Practice makes perfect. Learn from your mistakes. Recognize why you get killed in a situation and understand what you can do to avoid it next time. As previously stated, the campaign is a good place to practice. Find a sensitivity that works for you also.
Play Swat or an unranked gamemode. When I get stuck I tend to try to play another gamemode to cool off from, ahem, aggravating matches, and see of that’s anymore even. I say play Swat cause it’ll get you aiming for the head, which will become instinct in other gamemodes. Another option would be to party up with a same-rank good player. You don’t want to be a Gold in a Onyx tier, or vice versa.

True that! I mean I can understand that there are better players than me but I’m just trying to prove that I ain’t no scrub either so my aim would be to just try to keep pace with them. Especially if I can be satisfied with at least getting 1 kill of that same particular better opponent that’s been killing me all match long, I would not mind getting that win and being 1 or 2 & 10 or 15 against him. As for the technicality of matchmaking, you may be right since I been getting lots of golds, platinums and onyxes along with SR 40 and up which would explain my ongoing woes at Halo 5.

LOL!
I wish I was but then again if I was getting paid to suck at Halo 5, I’d be rich already much to the criticisms and smack I’ll be getting almost forever afterwards.
Well guys, I thank you all for your inputs & post but I guess for the time being, I’m gonna just take some time off for a while. I feel like as far as Halo is concerned, my time has probably past me by. I may come back to Halo at some point but for now, I think I’m just gonna return my XB1 to exchange for a much needed new AV receiver to go with my 4K TV that I have. Feel free to post on my thread still if you like.
