This video, was just posted on IGN. I watched it a few times before I saw at the beginning of the video, about 2 seconds in, you can see what sounds and looks like a concussion rifle being fired at the player. Do you think that is it? Or could that be the boltshot?
I think that might be the Railgun, or beam rifle… actually i take that back thoose shots are way to slow, i think you are right op

I thought that, then I saw that it shot twice in quick succession, and it blasted him forward a little bit into the hole. It could be though.
Man it sounds pretty revamped. I didn’t see that crimson glow, but it sounded and looked like powerful brute shot rounds coming out of a Concussion rifle.

I thought it sounded like the Brute shot too. However, it’s off screen footage, so it will probably sound different in the actual game.

It didn’t sound like a rocket, plus he would be dead if it were, it was shot right behind him twice. Plus, it shot twice pretty quickly, I hope the rocket doesn’t fire that fast.

It sounded like 3 shots, but yeah, they were consecutive shots and too quick for a rocket and fairly weaker.
All I was paying attention to was the music that plays when you’re carrying the flag
But it did kind of look like a Concussion blast.

I agree.
The contrails are the same as what we have been seeing with the Rocket launcher.
Also, you can see that the Spartan is firing it from above his shoulder, and you can see a plume of smoke when it is fired.
