As most of you probably know, the Concussion rifle is kind of under-utilised. The shots don’t do too much damage, they tend to throw the enemy around, making it difficult to get the next shot off, and thus it’s generally left abandoned on most maps it spawns on it both Reach and 4.
I propose, given the extra emphasis on mobility in 5, that it becomes a rocket jumping sort of weapon, letting you approach differently or get the drop (punpunpun) on enemies.
Thoughts?
I’m up for the concussion rifle gaining some uses! Although I think of rather it change damage wise…maybe give it splash effect and less ammo?
So if there are three people standing by each other, you shoot the guy in the middle and the Mini explosion it creates will create a horizontal explosion radius?
just a thought.

So more of a crowd control weapon? That sounds good for single player or SpOps, but I’m not sure about its use in multi. Honestly, the main reason I suggested this is because I finally got around to learning how to rocket jump in TF2, and I love it. Might be more difficult with a controller, but it just wouldn’t be as agile.

It would be interesting to have weapons with functions other than killing! but i love the Idea!
