Concerns

I have some concerns about the whole thing they are doing at the moment, which is altering Halo.

The instant respawns:

This doesn’t seem to bad for slayer gametypes, but does this means that the “Extermination” will only be there in games like grifball and Objectives?

The 6 bonus specializations that come with the Limited Edition:

It has been confirmed multiple times that armor permutations WILL influence gameplay.
This means that people having the 6 specializations can and will have an advantage over the other people at launch.

Sprint being default:

When I look at the use of buttons and the sticks on Halo: Reach, pretty much everything is taken, except for some things on the D-Pad. Where are they going to put it?
Does this mean some actions will be removed from their usual place?

Bloom and Recoil:

As some of you may already know, some weapons will have recoil and some will have bloom. The DMR and pistol are confirmed to have bloom. I’m curious to see how this is going to work out; Pasing your shots and re-locating your reticle.

Active Camo:

Now, let me start by saying that I don’t mind if you use camo, it’s your choice, but what really annoys me is that is jams the living hell out of yourself AND your teammates. I think it is unfair that it affects your teammates aswell. They can not influence your AA choice, nor can they do anything to stop it.

These were my concerns, feel free to post your own and I might add them to the post.

They say they are worried that newcomers won’t enjoy Halo 4’s multiplayer if they have single respawn points, but I think that is BS. If these ‘newcomers’ play a couple of games or check out the map in Forge or something like that, they will also know where these weapons will respawn thus making the odds even again.

Actually, they have not been confirmed to have “Bloom”.

Frankie said that it is not the same mechanic as in Halo:Reach, so we have no clue how it works. Most people are thinking it’s purely visual only, like the Sniper from Reach.

We’ll have to wait to until E3 to see if the Bloom is still like Halo:Reach, or purely visible.

I REALLY hope that the Sniper won’t have Bloom, because that would SUCK! If the Sniper has Bloom, the game is (atleast for me) ruined. I am very worried about the weapon spawns. Halo has alway’s had simple respawn points for the weapons. They say they are worried that newcomers won’t enjoy Halo 4’s multiplayer if they have single respawn points, but I think that is BS. The thing that really worries me the most, is this ‘Forerunner Vision’. I have no idea how this will work out. They say that they wanna draw new players to the Halo Universe, but do they really wanna do that at the cost of losing classic players? I will alway’s support Halo, no matter what. Whatever happens, I will play Halo 4, for the sake of a Halo 5 and 6 because my love for the game also lies in the Campaign, but I know that if hardcore multiplayer fans don’t like the new multiplayer, the will get back to Reach or maybe even H3. That would destroy the plans for a Halo 5 and 6!

So I hope that 343i will ALSO think about the classic Halo fans, for the sake of Halo’s survival!
