If you don’t already know, mythic effect set you get at Battle Pass level 100 replaces your footprints with small, but pretty noticeable pillars of fire, adds a very noticeable flame effect when sliding, changes your respawn animation, and adds extra flame effects to some of your equipment. It’s awesome, and all players can see it. However, my main concerns stem from how much easier it will be for people to know where you are. The footprints and sliding effects are incredibly delayed and last a while before disappearing, which can definitely make it harder to get away from someone who is chasing you. It’s already annoying enough getting randomly clipped from the opposite side of the map, but this will definitely paint a target on your back.
In addition to the horribly high desync, I feel more inclined to leave this off (at least in Ranked), which really sucks because it looks fire.

They do, but they take a while. Like I mentioned, the effects are delayed and last a while. Basically, if you’re walking at normal speed, the footprint effect activates roughly a second later and then lasts for a while before disappearing.
I think in the heat of the moment its not gonna be noticed that much or even seen at all

Also the only way to get the legendary armor effect in reach was to pay for the legendary edition so saying all of reach’s armor effects are free is a lie

You paid for all those cosmetics with the purchase of the game… because you can’t complete an achievement is not anyone’s fault except your own.
And the multiplayer is free and the cat ears hasn’t been in previous games
I agree with the point that older armor from previous games shouldn’t be in the store and should be earnable in game but newer stuff like the cat ears I don’t mind being tied to the store as that’s new stuff
I also do not care if it’s in the store, I’m not gonna waste my money on that useless crap.
But the fact that 343 is wasting yours and my money on COSMETICS instead of working on other areas of Infinite is the real freaking problem but you compulsive consumers WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE IT
