Something occurred to me when 343 Industries revealed the Classic Helmet REQ Pack in their latest Community Update… something I’m surprised no one has brought up yet.
How much are these helmets going to cost us?
Are they going to be unlockable through regular Silver or Gold REQ Packs? Or are they all going to be part of some special REQ pack that will cost us 100,000 REQ points or $9.99 apiece. Because I’m going to tell you all 343i and Microsoft right now, if it’s the latter, and we have to grind a ridiculous amount of REQ points or spend $10 buck just to get 2 of these classic helmets per pack… N****o Sale.
We don’t even have black techsuits yet, and until that changes these helmets aren’t going to make that big of a difference to our Spartan’s appearances. Even if we did, those helmets still wouldn’t be worth that amount of grinding… much less that amount of money.
Just start saving till 200,000.
Than buy packs as you wish when over 200k, if you have leftover rp after classic pack.
Bonus! Buy some silvers or whatever…

What amount of money? As far as I know the price hasn’t been announced. IMO if the price were to be $10 for all the new helmets would pretty good bang for your buck. 100k RP for all the helmets would be fair as well. Not sure how the helmets won’t make a big difference on the Spartan’s appearances, I think they’ll make a big change to the appearance.

Well,at least they will be in 1 pack,right? And also we can use RP and not have to spend our hard earned cash. I think it will be anywhere from 80k to 100k. Nothing to worry about,if you ask me.

That is only dependent on how far the player has come in there req collection. I have always below 10k req points mainly because I haven’t unlocked enough of the to start gain 6k req points from them.

No it’s not. There’s a bunch of guys speculating on the price in the replies, but Ske7ch does not confirm anything.

Yeah,but you could still start saving. Come February 9th you should have enough.

Remember the Memories of Reach pack?? That was 120,000RP. It will likely be somewhere between 100,000-150,000. I’m going to grind for 300k just to be safe.

Thats what i would like to know :L Because im not going to save up 200k req points when i only need like 50k or something since ive unlocked every req in the game.
I might be confused with what pack you’re talking about, but I spent 100,000RP recently for the greatest hits customisation pack thinking I’d recieve 5 sets of armour, what I got was a randomised selection of 5 rare to legendary items. I was pretty disappointed with it. If you are talking about a different pack, chances are they’d be deceptive about that too.
