Concerning the release of Halo 3 for free...

I was just thinking… With Halo 3 soon to be releasing for free on the XBL marketplace and possibly releasing on PC; maybe 343 could make a minor playlist update to matchmaking. This would update matchmaking to have playlist for all the weekend events in the past. These would include playlists for events such as- Living Dead, Grifball, Rocket Race, Fiesta, etc. In my personal opinion I think that these would be a great addition to the game as everyone has arguably enjoyed the weekend events and were proven to be very successful in bringing players back to the game. It could do the same thing here. Since Bungie stopped supporting Halo 3 there were no more weekend events and as a result we could no longer play modes such as living dead because there was no playlist for it. This upset me as well as many others and it would truly make my day if they were brought back for the Halo Community to enjoy.

Let me know what you think about this.

I think this is a good idea too. And could make someone of the playlist ranked, like grifball.

Unfortunately 343 seems to pay little attention to past halos and probably won’t even bother with Halo 3. I still would like them to do it but I’m a little doubtful they will.

Halo 3 will not be free tomorrow…or has an official release time table

That was a trick by the way, the Halo 3 PC thing. But yeah its a great idea.
