Really? It says you also play with KBM but looks like your controller is working just fine.
You have looked at your stats between the two inputs, right?
Controller
2.5 hours played
43.6% shot accuracy
51.8% HS accuracy
KBM
1.5 hours played
31.1% shot accuracy
20.7% HS accuracy
Corssplay
9.9 hours played (not sure which input you mainly play with, but you said play on controller so I assume crossplay is played with controller)
46% shot accuracy
50.5% HS accuracy
So, looks like that “option” is on for you.

I play on PC and i only played KBM in the beginning to have a rank for that playlist.
And i don’t play ranked that much (especially since in the beginning there were crash-issues and now i have way to often lag issues). But i play way way more on controler.
And ofcourse i am worse on KBM, since i rarely play it and i don’t have a steady hand.
Here’s the thing, even if you are below average on KBM Halo makes you even worse than you really are. If you’re above average on controller Halo makes you better than you really are. 343i implemented specific code unique to each input that boost an input (controller) over the other input (KBM) and not only that, it handicaps KBM even farther.
This whole tac ops event is a prime example of how much of an advantage there is with controller.
You have a good point. It seems like games these days must continue to have new and engaging content that keeps players coming. I really do hope that 343i creates some kind of Battle Royal style playlist because it would bring a new and challenging aspect of Halo.
