Concerned about custom games and playlists

I like the game as a whole so far, but a few things concern me. I know they are adding standard big team battle later, but it seems as though there aren’t enough playlist options at the start. Is this because they want to emphasize warzone?

Also, with forge being added later, will new game variants be added? I was disappointed to see that there is no infection(PLEASE ADD), and all around the variant choices seem to be limited. This greatly limits the creativity of custom games that had a healthy existence in halo 3 and reach(don’t really know about halo 4)

Halo playlists have always been dynamic. I’m sure they want to make sure the basic gametypes are functioning properly.

They just want to make sure matchmaking actually works before they go all in with gametypes and playlists, not another MCC repeat. However there is no excuse for not having infection in custom games
